After recovering from drug addiction in 1980s, Sam even had acting role as a Reverend on 1993 #PBS series #TalesOfTheCity shortly before recording a duet of "Rainy Night In Georgia" with country singer Conway Twitty.

#SamMoore fully supported #GOP and even collaborated with #LeeAtwater and #BobDole in 1990s, and appeared with Prez #DJT at #WhiteHouse in 2018 alongside Kid Rock, Mike Love and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter. Moore also admitted to fathering “14 or 15 children” but had relationships with only a few, claiming "some of them resent me or want me to pay for them."
