Thank you for posting this. It's fun with #levitation ! I want to get into 3D VTuber shenanigans someday, but right now all I've got is a half-finished hologram.

I'm glad someone else wants to post animated content here. Here's a tip from me: on Mbin and Lemmy, nothing works better than an old-school GIF. MP4 isn't an image format, so Mbin won't let you upload it.

You can still kind of use MP4, though:

Upload your MP4 to catbox.moe, like you did here
Use Ezgif to convert your MP4 to a GIF, probably reducing your video height and width in the process
After conversion, use Ezgif's "optimize" tool to further bitcrush your animation down to your instance's upload size limit, which on Fedia is 5.7MB (6,000,000 bytes)
Make your link post like you did here, linking to your MP4 on Catbox, but also upload your GIF

You'll get something like this Alex Blain post. Some front ends display the GIF, and some embed the MP4. Still more might not show a preview at all, but at least they can click your link to see the MP4 like they can on this post.
