Coyote Stark uses Librewolf (Also I, Nyxt but Librewolf as auxiliar)
#webrowser #browser #librewolf #nyxt #firefox #fork #bleach #anime #meme #memes #humor
@strange_new_words Ugh, I just checked and browser.ml.enable was enabled in #LibreWolf too. Not browser.ml.chat.enabled though.
@ann3nova @ClarusPlusPlus me, exactly one week ago:
Stumbled over extrepo while reading the installation instructions for #jellyfin. Never heard about it before.
( Even a repo for #zammad is in there, which is nice for $workplace. )
Given #mozilla's recent AI-fumbles and given enough addin compatibility between #firefox and #librewolf, I'm gone.
@nixCraft Mozilla is behaving strangely for years now.
Good that there are alternatives like #vivaldi , #librewolf , #bravebrowser and others.
@nixCraft So looks like switching to #LibreWolf was not a bad idea.
As of yet, many of these options are also on by default in #LibreWolf.
@Bredroll @MissConstrue #librewolf has been my primary #browser for a long while. So much so that I started to use it as my #default browser at #work as well. I highly #recommend it!
@MissConstrue i just rediscovered #librewolf https://librewolf.net/
officially fully switched from #floorp12 to #librewolf!!
Don’t worry, the fox will follow you to Linux too! 🦊✨

@fabi1cazenave Firefox pas encore désinstallé.
Android : #IronFox (navigateur par défaut)
PC : #LibreWolf (En cour)
Warum passiert das?
Ist #LibreWolf wirklich die beste Alternative? https://floss.social/@omgubuntu/115010420381198042
Would like to promote the #browser #firefox / #librewolf extension #Ublacklist here. Motivated by seeing a post about #aislop summaries pretty much every where these days.
Ublacklist allows to hide search results from #searchengine results like #Google #ecosia #duckduckgo #bing.
Next to each result is a small block icon which adds the domain to the filter and not 1 link of this site will reappear in your results.
Each time the result of a website is clearly #ai generated I block the whole domain. Last week I searched an issue about CNC milling and 9 out of the 10 first results on duckduckgo had been ai crap that didn't answer any questions but just rephrased a question multiple times.
Probably sysifus work but I'm feeling pretty good about making sure I'm never kicking a second time on basically fake links of fake websites.
Try it! If search engine companies can't do a good job or don't want to, I'm happy I can do it myself and stop them being able to show shit to me.
@hub We do. The fine people over at librewolf.net are hard at work to make firefox the way mozilla should've done. No telemetry crap, no suveys, no tracking, no annoyances and overall much better security. Give it a try.
Similar thing: iridiumbrowser.de as a much improved Chrome(ium).
We use both of them on a daily basis. Working great.
