High brain activity: The DLC is set in the past
Extremely high brain activity: The DLC is set in the original timeline of Lies of P (when Sophia was still Lea) that is now "forgotten" due to Sophia's time manipulation skills
Mini brain: The DLC retcons the main game
Galaxy brain: The DLC is actually a fever dream of Lea (who is Sophia's past self*) born out of her unprocessed fears, guilt, wishes, and memories, and we have to help her escape from this nightmare by coming to terms with the past
*which is also why there are slight alterations to the main timeline after the DLC (cuz Sophia decides about what's "reality" in the LoP verse)
