This linocut print was more complex than i had anticipated, due to both the big printed areas in the sky and the thin lines at the bottom; or maybe also because i was a bit rusted with the technic 🥲 all went well in the end though!

New linocut print! 💚🍓
It’s been just over a year now since i started carving & printing illustrations this way and i’m pleased to report that i’ve been having a blast all the way & i absolutely plan on keeping up :D I have lots of ideas & ambitions for the future (and i also need to finally set up an online shop to share my works in a more organized way than just selling prints on here). Postcard-sized linocut print in dark green on white paper, featuring small pictures on an irregular grid: a blooming tree, a cliff at night, mushrooms, plants & fossils, a house with a smoking chimney and an umbrella. Pictures are drawn in a simple, clean art style kind of reminiscent of icons.

I’ve finally got myself some real #linocut ink and some nice paper, so here i am again with new prints to test everything out! I still have a long way to go but i’m starting to get the hang of it :)
This one has faces drawn with a pencil, i thought it would be a fun way to add some detail and a bit of variety between each print.
