Well - they all ended up liking it! 13 year old most of all. The two 10 year olds had a few scares during it, but still liked it. And enjoyed the theatrical, happy ending version. That said, when I told them about the original ending - all of them wanted to see that version. I'll have to see if I can find it later.

Side related - I forgot how much the Audrey II curses. Especially in their last song. Whoops!

This is definitely my favourite soundtrack to a movie based on a '50s-style musical based on an extremely low-budget horror movie about a killer plant. But seriously, Rick Moranis kicks ass in this movie, and in this song, with the help of Ellen Greene, our musical chorus, and a cast of cameos. Great character and setting establishment.

Zu sehen ist ein Modell-Gebäude aus Klemmbausteinen. Es ist ein Eckhaus mit zwei Stockwerken, im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Laden, über dem Schaufenster prangt ein Schild "Flower Shop".

Das gleiche Klemmbaustein-Modell wie auf dem ersten Bild, diesmal jedoch mit Blick auf die offene Rückseite. Man sieht das Innere des Blumenladens mit ein paar Blumen und einer Verkaufstheke im Erdgeschoss. Ein einer Ecke des Ladens steht eine übergroße fleischfressende Pflanze mit vielen tentakelartigen Ranken und scharfen Zähnen, sie scheint zu lachen und streckt ihre lange rosa Zunge raus.
Das Obergeschoss ist nur in einer kleinen Ecke angedeutet und deutet einen Behandlungsraum eines Zahnarztes an mit Lachgas-Schlauch und Behandlungsstuhl.
Die ganze Szenerie ist dem Musical bzw. Film "Der kleine Horror-Laden" nachempfunden.
