A recent analysis by a real estate news and information website provides the top 100 cities or towns in Canada with the best work-life balance. Quebec communities dominate the list, which looks at 30 different metrics. My community, Caledon, was ranked 11th, and the city we are considering a move to is 91st. Since my wife and I are retired, I'm not sure it matters that much.

Berliners rave against the motorway
Extending the A100 into eastern Berlin would bring even more traffic into an already congested centre and would bring extreme noise and pollution to the city. It's a nonsense project no matter how you look at it.
This is the most expensive motorway project in Germany.
For that money you could build a bicycle lane from Berlin to Beijing. It's completely insane to invest in this project.

does this exist? if not, please build it... a sound sensor that turns the next traffic light red anytime it detects a car horn. longer, louder, and repeated horn blasts add time to the red light. can combine this with (what i know exists) a speed sensor that turns the light red if it detects a vehicle over the limit.

After reading that I'm confused. How can anyone, rational or otherwise, come up with this view of dystopia or prison for a walkable livable city. How can anyone view their drivel and think, "Wow... I totally get that..." Are they just cyber punks who enjoy making others miserable? Or someone lacking in comprehension skills or common sense? Maybe they're just bored and need a hobby...
The solution: commuting *by bike*.

I often think what criteria I would want in a city I’d like to move to. It would be in this order
1. Walkable
2. Efficient tram/light rail/ train service
3. Safe bike infrastructure
The harder part for me to find include:

6. English speaking or can easily converse in English
