Journalist and author Antony #Loewenstein is a leading Jewish voice criticising Israel’s war on Gaza, but some have branded him a traitor for his views.
“Seeing what has happened to Gaza since October 7 has been heartbreaking, honestly, and I’m so ashamed,” Loewenstein said.
“Vast neighbourhoods have been obliterated,” he said.

Loewenstein quoted one family member of a captive as saying, “I want my sister back, but after that Israel can do what it wants to Gaza”. That view is “very mainstream”, Loewenstein adds.
