We have been giving Loki fluids every third day now for his CKD, and we notice he seems to feel more spry afterwards. When it’s time to administer the fluids, we tell him “it’s time to get juiced up!”

I used to worry about the brown spots on Loki's nose, his toes, his gums, etc. But the vet said it's just freckles, which makes sense b/c he's basically a redhead and redheads have freckles.

Loki went to the vet on Thursday to get a dental cleaning, and ended up having 4 teeth extracted :sadness: (see following post).

He is recovering well, other than being a little out of it from the pain meds.
We are so grateful he made it through the procedure, as he is a senior cat with kidney disease.

He had his front legs shaved, and now it looks like he’s wearing oven mitts.
