Some highlights from @ducky 's weekly pandemic paper post https://covidbc.webfoot.com/2025/11/28/2025-11-28-bc/ :
fetuses can get infected with SARS-CoV-2 from their mothers
which doesn't sound too bad but Ducky is putting it mildly, as the paper itself says:
SARS-CoV-2 can be widely distributed in fetal organs through vertical transmission
with 100% of the 18 fetuses testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 in some organ, and with 30-32 organs sampled each:
Among 538 fetal specimens, 49 were found to contain SARS-CoV-2 virus, with confirmed high viral load observed in 21 fetal specimens.
and confirmed fetal damage:
Further, proteomic profiling reveals DNA damage and immune imbalance in infected organs.
they reassure that
the likelihood of fetal infection is not conclusive and infected pregnant women should not be overly alarmed. Accordantly, most babies born to mothers with COVID-19 are asymptomatic or have mild disease
but to me that is at odds with
Widespread fetal infection
And 18/18 fetuses testing positive for SARS2
And, you know, everything that post-birth humans suffer after SARS2
Moving on, another paper found:
people who had mild cases had a 50% higher risk of all-cause mortality as NOVIDs
which seems huge - unless compared to the +977% risk of all-cause mortality for people hospitalized by SARS-CoV-2! 🫠
two studies which found that antibiotic use decreased the (useful) response to vaccinations.
then,
people with Long COVID were more likely to have had a mental illness diagnosis before catching COVID-19 than matched controls without Long COVID did
but that list also includes headache with a +145% (women) to +189% (men, no NB figures) risk of Long COVID! It seems like people who suffer headaches should really consider themselves at higher risk?
