I ordered 2x #HeltecV4 devices a few days ago. They're supposed to arrive today, but it hasn't even left the origination facility.
Either way, I'm excited to toy around with #Reticulum and #MeshCore with them.
I also bought two outdoor solar kits, so I'm hoping these will be permanent fixtures. I also need to figure out what can survive a harsh Colorado hail storm.
If this next test goes well, I'll acquire a #LoRaWAN device and start experimenting with that.
I'm inching closer towards an initial proof-of-concept set of hardware gear for use in the #HardenedBSD censorship- and surveillance-resistant low-cost (or free in certain cases) mesh network.

Ich habe die Tage mal einen #CO2 Messgerät gebaut und in das #TheThingsNetwork reingehängt. Funktioniert auch in unserer Halle ganz gut. Schön, dass wir hier so eine sehr hohe Abdeckung haben. Eigentlich würde ich da jetzt gerne noch ein Gehäuse drucken und eine Visualisierung mit einem LED Ring machen. Die Dashboards hab ich, der Einfachheit halber, mit #ThingSpeak gebastelt. #TTN #LoRaWAN

Строго говоря это не самостоятельный стандарт, а скорее надстройка над LTE, которая помогает мобильной связи четвертого поколения стать IoT-совместимой. Первый релиз NB-IoT вышел в составе Release 13 в 2016 году, и с этого момента технология развивалась как часть семейства LTE. Но зачем LTE вообще понадобилась какая-то надстройка? can I auto-provision using a well-known (server-wise) deveui where the pre-configured device sends out a provisioning-request and the server sends back the future deveui/appeui/appkey?
This allows me to provision devices over the air, permitting a brief period of possible deveui-clash.
Can this be a valid way of provisioning? Is there a LoRA directive which doesn't allow this?
Are there service-implementation which don't allow this?
