So here I am, back from where I started. I did drive towards Germany last Wednesday. I decided to visit some wonderful people in Lübeck, Hamburg and Potsdam and choose to spend some time with them and gosh was it worth it. I felt blessed, grateful and so warm and fuzzy with them. It was just wonderful.
And now, things will change. A new stage is upon me. Onwards to new beginnings.
I have a strange sensation. Something in me is longing. It wants to drive home. Don't get me wrong, Sweden is a wonderful place and I really like it here and will come back for sure. I remember what home sickness feels like and it's not that. Neither the fact, that I had a more or less pleasant night in my car. I could even sleep at the guest house of the Airbnb host. So no reasonable thought would suggest that.
And still something pulls me towards home...
Good morning #Sweden.
I am awake, actually for some time now but the sun was so pleasant in waking me up that I had struggle to fall asleep again. So I dozed for a couple of hours and now I am up. I already took a shower and feel more awake than before.
But how was it then? Well, it was far from what the Swedish would call "Lagom". I slept not well and it was all not quite right. So for a day or two it's fine but else it would need lots of improvements. Have a wonderful day.
I'm here. I found a nice "camping place" on a ski club area, cheap, with toilets and showers and I'm ready for my first night in the car. Still no idea how well I'm going to sleep but I found a place. Everything else is secondary.
Also one of my Airbnb hosts offered me to sleep in the summer house where she and her husband stays from Wednesday. It's such a lovely gesture and I am going to take her offer. Probably from Thursday to Friday. That made me really happy.
Yesterday I was at the waterfall in #Styggforsen. The rock fornations there was pretty unique because the whole area was a meteor area a lobg time ago.
I also visited a 628 m long wodden pier in #Rättvik the #Långbryggan. It was really inpressive. And that's how the first part ended.
This is it. The end of the first part of my journey. Now the unknown part starts. From now on nothing is planned. Almost nothing. Only my first stop at #Norrköping is what I know I will be later this day. Where do I sleep? No idea. Maybe in my car on a camping site, maybe in my car somewhere else, maybe in an Airbnb or hotel.
All I know for sure is that I will know at some point.

I arrived at my next stop #Rättvik.
The garden house I'll spend the next two days at is absolutely lovely and I will enjoy the heck out of it.
Meanwhile I already arrived at #Dalhalla the most special concert location I have ever been at. So if, by any chance, any of you is here, let me know and if you like come and say Hi. I would live to chat.
It still feels a little unreal that I drive 1600 km for a concert but here I am.
It's time to leave #Jönköping.
I had a wonderful time here even if it was pretty much just a day and two nights. I had a fantastic Airbnb host, visited the island #Visingsö and got a small sunburn with it. Today the laat part of my planned travel begins off to #Rättvik.

I slept fantastic and feel great and ready for my day.
My host and I had a wonderful conversation yesterday evening and I got several good tips on what to see while I'm here. I am going to check out #Visingsö a small island in the #Vättern lake. Maybe the town #Gränna and another spot if I have time. So far it is very exciting and satisfying.

The city is pretty big. And so is the lake I haven't been to yet. For now I took a stroll through the #Stadsparken and enjoy the calm and peaceful of the moment.
Anything to see around here except the lake #Vättern? Any interesting places around that one can do in a day?
In every way I am curious for the experience.
Also I love, love, love, the "Hej, Hej!" as a greeting.
First night of my journey is over. I have to admit the night was mediocre. Slept not very well but enough (I guess?) and will have a nice coffee before I will depart on the second part of my journey. Then it is Good-Bye #Denmark and Hello #Sweden.
Today is bridge day andI will cross two pretty impressive bridges on of them is the Øresund bridge.

I arrived very well and ahead of my scheduled time frame at my first stop in Denmark. I also made a smol tour around a small lake in the center of the city. Unfortunately the cathedral was closed si that I could only take a glance from the outside.
... and so it began. The car was packed, everything fitted in and I'm pretty fast during my travel. I thought I had more traffic jam, there was a little around Bremen, but now I'm close (around 2h away) to my first stop on my route to #Sweden making it to #Haderslev #Denmark for the night.

I got several supplies for my trip from a very dear and nice person. So I guess I am a little bit better prepared now? Well at least the air mattress fits in my trunk and there is the option to sleep in the car on my way back. Still no clue on how I should get everything packed into the car but well, we will see eventually at the latest tomorrow morning before I head off into the adventure.
So there is a lot more to consider than I thought regarding my upcoming #Sweden trip. Am I prepared? Hell no. Am I excited? Hell yeah. Do I feel like I am good to go? Oh boy.
So if you have any last ideas hit me up. Also if there are any Swedes here, what do you think I should do during my first time in your country?

Slowly but unvarying the planning continues.
The outward journey is planned and booked. I will take an easy three day trip towards my final destination in #Sweden. Once at my destination and after experiencing a most certainly magical concert I will let myself flow with what comes on my way back home.
