Fantastic idea: make #lying illegal for politicians!
I've always said that a politician caught lying should be kicked out and never be allowed to hold public office again. Lying should be a political suicide.
Just looking at our Dutch parliament, I think at least a quarter of current MPs would get the boot. Bye bye Wilders, Baudet, Yesilgöz, Van der Plas and a whole lot of others. Man, that would be a major cleaning!
