M32 galaxy - telescope processed image. M32 is a dwarf compact elliptical galaxy in Andromeda. It's a satellite of the M31 galaxy and has an extremely dense core with a supermassive black hole.M32 galaxy - unprocessed image. Despite being a small dwarf elliptical galaxy, M32 has an extremely dense core with a supermassive black hole of approximately 3 million solar masses.

Forgot to share this mosaic image of - using the moon and sky light filter. Not sure I seem much improvement for this image from the filter. As you can see some satellites got caught in one of the mosaic images.

M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy - telescope processed image. There are about 35 satellite galaxies around M31, including M32 and M110, are mostly dwarf galaxies. They exhibit an unusual planar alignment and co-orbiting motion. M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy - unprocessed images. M31 is It is the nearest major galaxy (approximately 2.5 million light-years), the largest in the Local Group, and the most distant object visible to the naked eye.

Decided to do an another mosaic of . Though the SeeStar app noted 1:50 time necessary to do it, it didn’t finish. Here is the failed mosaic. To the bottom right of Andromeda, you ca see , that is a dwarf elliptical galaxy that orbits Andromeda. To the left of the bright center of Andromeda, you will see M32 with also orbits the larger galaxy.

M31 The Andromeda Galaxy - unprocessed image. The Andromeda Galaxy is surrounded by a massive, nearly invisible halo of hot gas and at least 35 dwarf galaxies, including M32 and M110.

Last image of the morning (forgot to post it). Decided to do a mosaic of . To the bottom right of Andromeda, you ca see , that is a dwarf elliptical galaxy that orbits Andromeda. To the left of the bright center of Andromeda, you will see M32 with also orbits the larger galaxy.

M31 Andromeda, M32 and M110 - telescope processed image. M31 (Andromeda) is the largest spiral galaxy in our Local Group. M32 and M110 are its dwarf elliptical satellite galaxies. They're all approaching the Milky Way. M31 Andromeda, M32 and M110 - unprocessed image. M31 is the most distant object visible to the naked eye! It's on a collision course with the Milky Way, with its satellites, M32 and M110, in tow.

Another comparison of the same object in the sky. - is the object observed. First images from the . Second image is from the#SeeStar .

M31 - Andromeda Galaxy - Odyssey Pro processed image. M31 is the Andromeda Galaxy, a barred spiral galaxy and our nearest major galactic neighbor. It's visible to the unaided eye. M31 - Andromeda Galaxy - SeeStar s50 processed image. Andromeda is hurtling toward us at 250,000 mph! In about 4.5 billion years, it will collide with the Milky Way to form a new galaxy.

Something I've been working on with remote data: a 3-panel mosaic of the Andromeda Galaxy. Integration now includes reds and luminance data but only used luminance for this image. Getting used to the mosaics and core brightness reduction workflow for now.

One of my last shots from Friday night. This will be a familiar sight to everyone North of the Equator, but it is a rare visitor around my latitude. In fact, the last time I shot this was in December of 2023. In a bit of an amusing twist, this image, like the one in 2023, was shot with my Dwarf2. This time I got much more than 10 minutes though, and have access to much better post-processing options.

Andromeda is the closest spiral galaxy to our own, and the source of a lot of what we know about the structure of galaxies like ours. Here we get Andromeda and the companions M32 and M110.

So, here we have 120x15s@60 exposures, post processed in Stellar Studio and finished in Snapseed. We also have the original version from 2023, 40x15s@80 post processed in Snapseed only. My, how far we've come!

Big thanks to our friends at ZWO Astro for the shiny new Seestar S30 Smart Telescope! El Presidente Shannon Calvert called dibs and, in just 20 minutes each on M27, M13, M31, and M8, pulled in jaw-dropping details. WAS Members - get ready, if you sign up you'll get a month to play with this cosmic toy!

Shot the Andromeda Galaxy M31 because I think you're required to by the Seestar User Agreement. M110 is on the right, and M32 is the fuzzball below. I've tracked down globular clusters in both M31 and M110. #astrophotography #Seestar #M31 #M32 #M110
