This is a black and white seascape photo of a coastal lighthouse built on a small islet with snow covered mountains in the background. Kjeungskjær fyr, Norge (2023). The dark, near black sea water covers the lower quarter of the image with small waves of about one metre breaking the surface. Very slightly to the lower left of centre is our octagonal, brick built light house. The lighthouse is on the left side of a low islet or skerry that cannot be much more than a metre above the sea level and is about 50 metres long with a small jetty built on the far left side. The lighthouse or Fyr is octagonal in shape, built from stone and has an octagonal pitched roof with the lantern mounted on the left side above the roof. Beyond the deserted sea is a crisp horizon where the water meets the shore. The land rises with a few areas of rounded mountains with a tall, snow covered mountain ridge in the distant background. Above is a partly cloudy sky with only a few wisps of cirrus clouds.
