Finally found a better solution to this problem. It turns out that disabling MGLRU fixes the overly-keen OOM killer problem. Much better than my hacky script. #Linux #MGLRU #EndlessOS

My #Linux distro recently updated to a kernel which has #mglru included. I’ve enabled it but haven’t used it long enough yet to have noticed the difference. ( I do expect to, I often run enough things to push into swap and sometimes thrash. I just haven’t yet. ) I’m curious how others find it on their laptop or desktop..?
