Another shot from my last visit from the local zoo in stralsund. Pretty much liking the diversity of flowers there and the unlimited possibilities to photograph them. Sadly I'm not 100% sure that I know the correct name of this flower. Google is telling me "Palisaden-Wolfsmilch" which translates to Euphorbia characias.

Sonnenaufgang am Bodden III
Während die Hirschbrunft zu Ende ging steigt die Zahl der Kraniche weiterhin an. Rund 34.000 dieser imposanten Tiere sind Anfang Oktober auf dem Zingst angekommen (Info lt. www.kraniche.de). Viele davon lassen sich in den flachen Gewässern rund um Pramort zum Schlafen nieder, einige übernachten jedoch (eigentlich untypisch) auf den geschützten Flächen der Vogelinsel Kirr im Barther Bodden. Bei Sonnenaufgang können hier wunderschöne Lichtstimmungen entstehen - allerdings sind Kraniche Frühaufsteher. Die meisten sind bereits auf dem Weg zu den umliegenden Maisfeldern, wenn die Sonne aufgeht. Auf diesem Foto sehen wir einen der "Langschläfer", die den gemeinsamen Abflug verpasst hatten 😉

WICHTIG: Um die Tiere nicht zu stören ist der Zugang zum Pramort während der Kranichrast streng reglementiert: Morgens bis 8 Uhr nur mit Ausnahmegenehmigung, die nur zu den Nationalparktagen erteilt wird, und von 16 Uhr bis zum Einsetzen der Dunkelheit nur mit der Nationalpark-Card, die meist schon Wochen vorher ausgebucht ist. Um diese Regeln einzuhalten gibt es bewachte Wegsperrungen und Kontrollen vor Ort, was sehr begrüßenswert ist.
