Hi @themagpi ! These are my 1st/2nd electronics project of my life. I pulled out keyboard module from old SANYO/RICOH word prosessor, converted to modern USB keyboard by QMK installed Raspberry Pi Pico W, and stuck into 3D printed cases. Since it was my first time writing a program in my life, I chose Raspberry Pi as it seemed to be the most suitable for beginners. And thanks to the generous support of the community, I able to complete it with almost no difficulty! #MagPiMonday
#MakerMonday
So @TheMagPi magazine is now the Raspberry Pi Magazine, and #MagPiMonday is now #MakerMonday but otherwise reassuringly very much the same.
Happy Monday, folks! Hope you had a great weekend
Working on any Raspberry Pi or Pico projects? Then of course, we want to see a photo of it!
@themagpi I assembled a board I designed last year for the #RP2350 to test using the UART bootloader now I have ICs (from #LCSC).
After modifying the code in the pico-examples PR https://github.com/raspberrypi/pico-examples/pull/571 to suit the hardware I have "blink" working π .
I didn't break out the RUN pin so the Pico can't reset my board but powering it up after the Pico it uploads OK.
Good afternoon, folks! Hope you had a great weekend
It's Monday, which can only mean one thing: we want to see a photo of any Raspberry Pi or Pico projects you're working on!
We're still #MagPiMonday but soon... it will be #MakerMonday
@themagpi I published a detailed guide and code examples for setting up VSCode on Windows using the Raspberry Pi Pico extension to develop C++ code for the Pico and Pico2 (and boards using the RP2040 and RP2350 chips). It covers how to take one of the examples from the Pimoroni Pico libraries as a starting point. https://github.com/Footleg/rpi-pico/tree/main/pico-cpp #MagPiMonday
@themagpi I've been reviewing my latest Pico project.
It didn't all go to plan, but I got it working in the end.
We learn more from the things that don't work than the things that do.
Good morning folks! How are we all doing today?
Working on any Raspberry Pi or Pico projects? Send us a photo and it might end up in the mag - speaking of which, 150 is out this week!
@themagpi Iβve started a new blog aimed at helping people get the best out of their Pi using open source software. https://pisource.org I have server and desktop guides and have lots of cool posts up coming. #MagPiMonday
Good morning everyone! We hope you had a great weekend
Working on any Raspberry Pi or Pico projects? We'd love to see a photo! As usual, we might put them in the magazine

Got the mouth moving on my #RaspberryPi #BuildHAT project to make a Lego face using #python . Need to attach two more motors for the eyes next. @themagpi #MagPiMonday
@themagpi The modelling side of my OO Gauge Inspection Train β with onboard #raspberrypi powered WiFi camera streaming footage of my layout β is now just about finished, as is the second part of my build video: https://youtu.be/bOCb1gpf0_o. Just like the real thing only smaller! #MagPiMonday
Good morning, everyone!
It's the first Monday of the New Year, so we want to see a photo what Raspberry Pi or Pico projects you've been working on. They might end up in the magazine

Done the face-making for the #RaspberryPi #BuildHAT mechanical face. Now for coding in #python to make the eyebrows and mouth move using three motors. @pimoroni @themagpi #MagPiMonday
@themagpi Itβs a rare thing for me, a finished project! This was based on the project featured in a previous Magpi, Iβve loved Mandelbrots since reading about them way back in the 90s so I had to build this, thanks for the inspiration! #MagPiMonday
@themagpi Raspberry Pi Pico crossing light controller re-adapted for use on the #ChristmasTreeRailway, tucked away under the signal box. #MagPiMonday (on a Tuesday!)
Good morning folks!
Rob was busy riding Space Mountain so it's another #MagPiTuesday!
Working on any Raspberry Pi or Pico projects? Show us a photo! It might end up in the mag
