17. Total Chaoz - Oh Beatrix (1980 or '81)

Nothing just happens. Everything's the product of a whole lot of begattin'. Seein' Red came from Manliftingbanner came from Larm came from Total Chaoz came from... 5 Dutch knuckleheads in plaid and leather.

Some of the songs serve as foundation for what's to come from their progeny: righteously angry, speed high, production low. TC does renditions of "Wodka," "South Africa," and "Nothing For Us" before Larm got their hands on 'em, but they're fully Total Chaoz songs here. "Oh Beatrix" doesn't have a space in the Larm repetoire that I recall, I just love songs that dare to name names.
