What about #Blender's fluids, the promising #GPUSmoke is stuck in 2021, #Mantaflow is worse than previous, #FlipFluid is going in a direction that developers don't care, now we wait Nodes, many things abandoned and few landed in the main branch. so for now only a lot of smoke #b3d

Finally sat down and followed a tutorial on simulate swirling steam in #blender3d. Years ago I looked into and found it was hard to simulate, but now with #mantaflow you can do it with a #fluidsimulation
