Kurz nachdem endlich die Markierungsarbeiten für die #Fahrradstraße auf der #Goethestraße begonnen haben, gab es Proteste von Anwohnern. Die Stadt hat die Arbeiten daraufhin unterbrochen und wird demnächst bei einer öffentlichen Veranstaltung einzelne Aspekte diskutieren.

Die SPD bittet die Verwaltung zum Schutz der Baumscheiben auf der #SinzigerStraße beidseitig ein absolutes Halteverbot im Bereich des Fritz-Encke-Parks einzurichten.

Wegen der Seitenparker ist kein MIV-Begegnungsverkehr möglich. Bei Ausweichmanövern würden die Bäumscheiben der nachgepflanzten Kirschbäume und der Grünstreifen überfahren. Bei einem beidseitigen Halteverbot wären Ausweichmanöver auf die Baumscheiben nicht erforderlich.
