Sometimes I feel like doing something artsy, but I'm frustrated with my art level. So, I color something drawn by someone else. It allows me to get better with markers or brushes and experiment a little.

In this case, a Xmas illustration with acrylic markers. The golden was already on the canvas.

Acrylic markers on a canvas that I bought with a pre-drawn illustration. There's Santa's sleight (painted in green) drawn in golden thick lines. On the sleight there are three characters: a polar bear, Santa, and a penguin. The bear and the penguin both have golden scarves. Santa's belt buckle is also golden. I left the ground blank (white) and added some grey shadows to make it look like snow. The starry sky is black for the most part, except at the bottom where it's partly blue.

Kdenlive version 25.12.0 was just released. In this version "guides" get renamed to "markers." For consistency and to avoid confusion, the Kdenlive Team renamed timeline guides to markers, since the term guide was used interchangeably and therefore confusing, and they were in fact markers for a sequence clip. Markers can now have a duration that is shown in the timeline, and can be dragged in the timeline from the Markers list.

Même si le monde a perdu de sa magie depuis son départ, j'ai pris Frank Pé au mot et j'ai ressorti mes feutres pour gribouiller quelques bestioles que l'on aimait bien tous les deux.

Moi, et bien, je suis toujours triste en réalisant que l'on ne pourra plus parler de nébuleuses et de touracos. Mais hé, ça ira. Et puis, rien n'empêche d'imaginer la suite du dialogue. Je sais que ça lui aurait bien plu. Alors, rêvons !
