This piece on British thinking - or is it fantasizing? - about Australia and other "neo-Britains" interested me, a Brit living in the USA. It might also be of interest to to readers from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, and the USA.

Although the "Anglosphere" and its supposed virtues and possibilities* have provided the British Europhobic right with talking points for many years now, it's worth remembering that Labour has long had a continual fascination with the USA.

*See, for example, Andrew Roberts, Andrew Lilico, and other rightwingers promoting CANZUK. They remind me of incels fantasizing about threesomes.
