So, looks like yesterday was my Fediversary.
I made my original Mastodon account on Masto Dot Social April 24, 2022.
Three years I've been on Fedi.
It has been a good and different social media experience compared to my previous time on Twitter, Instagram, etc. I've seen less focus on getting widespread reach as an individual, with more focus on interacting and sharing.
Also, learning about tons of different music. It's been good.
Thank you to every person who follows me, likes my stuff, interacts with me, etc.
Here's to more years of decentralized nonsense from me.

Oh yes, ignore the date on my bio. My #Mastoversary for Elekk (According to Gmail) is today.
I had been on Mastodon since December of the previous year, before my admin took her ball and went home after mild criticism for saying something extremely shitty lmao
Also (no fooling) my elekk #Mastoversary is possibly today.
That's what it says on my bio, though my email inbox (I went digging) says I registered on the 2nd. So uh....
Who knows? I'm willing to celebrate both days

Oh, I almost forgot: It’s my third year #Mastoversary today! Despite most of my other social media accounts coming down this past year, my #Mastodon account is here to stay. It’s one of the only places where I have full control over my feed at this moment, and I’m thankful for that as someone who has way too many triggers I’m trying to work through.

I've enjoyed this space during all this time, and I'm rooting for its success. Compared to the old bird site and other short form post sites, I'm happier and more active on here. It's too bad that I can't convince my real life friends to join.
I just realized that my 2 year anniversary on Mastodon was a couple of days ago! I assume that many people here had their 2 year anniversaries this month.
I remember joining a few social networks after he who shall not be named Let That Sink In™. T2/Pebble, Spoutible, Cohost, and finally Masto once I sat down and figured out how to sign up. I'm glad I stuck with it here. It's such a great community, and feels like a nice mix of modern social media and the late 90s/early 00s web.
Two years on Mastodon today. I've really enjoyed this platform and have interacted with a far higher percentage of people here than on any other.
Friends, thank you all for making this a great space to visit. I'm glad to have met/encountered so many of you here!

So… it turns out that 10 November is my Mastodon anniversary (MastoBirthday).
I have begun moving off some other place 2 years ago today. And finished that when they cut my access the following January.
I feel like the community here is much more engaged than where I was before. Imperfect, yet mostly fun.

Today, August 25, is my 1-year anniversary on transfem.social, which I joined three days after the abrupt closure of my previous instance firefish.lgbt.
This Thursday, August 29, is my four year anniversary on the fediverse as a whole.
