1929. Huesca. Mi tía-abuela Julia ve por 1ª vez una película sonora («El desfile del amor» de Ernst Lubitsch, con Maurice Chevalier). Sobre todo me gusta su gesto final al recordar a la Teresina, con quien fue al cine.

RECORDAR: Del latín _recordari_, volver a pasar por el corazón.

La Teresina, lo dice mi tía en el vídeo, era la "señorita" de la casa donde ella trabajaba como "muchacha". Así y todo, se hicieron amigas y la Teresina la invitaba al cine y al baile. Con el tiempo la Teresina fundó la Academia Gari de Huesca y tuvo un hijo, Ángel Gari, que hoy en día es un reconocido antropólogo.

Maurice Chevalier was an infantryman in the French army during World War I. He was injured in the back by shrapnel and captured by the Germans. He spent two years in the Alten Grabow POW camp where he learned to speak English. He was released in 1916 when the King of Spain intervened on his behalf.
