And it looks like changes have been made to Ollie Bearman’s suspension under parc ferme, so he is starting from the pit lane, and being reported to stewards, per @fiadocsbot

Heavy rain and standing/running water on the #F1 track at Albert Park saw the #Supercars sprint race doing 3 laps behind the safety car, before the race was red flagged (suspended).

A gap in the rain is expected, but there is little chance of getting racing in with the remaining 10-15 minute race window 😟
NB as expected, the Supercars race has been abandoned.

Oh, and the seagulls have joined the ducks in the infield area 😲

#Motorsport fans are used to seeing wildlife at #Australian events. I mean, kangaroos, echidnas, and snakes have made the occasional appearance at Bathurst over the years, but I do think today’s ducks during the #Supercars #MelbourneGP race will need to be rounded up and kept safe.
