Today, I signed my first ballot initiative petition which will permit/require ranked choice voting in #Michigan elections. Kiddo and I travelled several counties away today to hangout with family at a public outdoor event that had enough attendees to attract the canvassers for #RankMIVote.

BEWARE that there are a couple of voter suppression proposals out there, based on the federal SAVE act that failed to pass. There are a couple of other proposals cooking that I'm less familiar with. One is supposed to increase taxes on those making $500k/yr and another is related to the minimum wage law that the legislature fucked with recently. It's not clear to me that they've been approved for circulation yet.
