Depuis quelques mois, #Microsoft semble accumuler les boulettes, dans une avalanche de problèmes techniques, alors même que #Windows10 n’a plus de support. Les annonces sur l'#IA et la montée en puissance de #Linux sur les jeux n'arrangent pas la situation.

I'm learning to hate Microsoft products.
Making a comment in PowerPoint (maybe just the "365" version?) has been deeply frustrating and I've lost a ton of comments because of muscle memory from Google products:
- Write comment
- [Tab]
- [Enter]
In PowerPoint365 this creates a comment then cancels it. It's gone. Because it was "canceled" and not deleted, CTRL+Z doesn't bring it back.
Fucking shoot me.

Willkommen bei #linux
Ich selbst saß einige Zeit hinter Gefängnismauern, machte 2007 meinen ersten EDV-Kurs. Der wurde von der IHK angeboten und ausschließlich auf Microsoft ausgerichtet. Als ich im August 2023 entlassen wurde, bekam ich zwar von Freund:innen einen Linux-Rechner, war aber überfordert, mich darin auch noch einzuarbeiten (hatte ich doch eben erst auch noch das Smartphone-Universum betreten: das aber gleich mit #grapheneos 😍).
Diesen Herbst jedoch schaffte ich es endlich- und der 'Entzug' dauerte nur wenige Tage. Mit #debian bin ich glücklich. Nichts gegen KI, aber das aufgezwungen zu bekommen, in den eigenen Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten eingeengt zu werden, das ist ein no go. Auch wenn es für viele vermutlich verführerisch bequem sein dürfte.

Oui, vous pouvez désactiver cette fonction ! Sauf que vous ne pouvez le faire que 3 fois par an ! (..) Donc si vous désactivez, puis réactivez, puis désactivez à nouveau ce paramètre, vous êtes bloqué jusqu’à l’année suivante.
Pour le moment, cette fonctionnalité est en test.

This stupid thing has been saying "1 second remaining" for over an hour. #MicroSoftSucks even when it's running a presumably simple little thing on #MacOS I'm just glad none of my #Linux machines have any MS BS that they need to run.
I avoid Microsoft at all costs, but for work reasons have to deal with Win 11... which now stashes ALL your files on OneDrive, which means if it can't get to the Internet, or there's some login snafu, or whatever... no files! The most annoying OS ever. (all my personal stuff is Linux now). #MicrosoftSucks

I know that I am starting to sound like a broken record (I do love the cheap vinyl) but #Microsoft #Outlook is becoming (more) unusable:
+ Its grammar suggestions are stupid (especially when it is always trying to replace "their" with "them" in every situation -- I mean #WTF).
+ Now whenever I either "accept" or "reject" the suggestions it does **nothing**. Fucking NOTHING.
I mean, why even?
