Would a mid-life crisis be exciting right now? I already have a motorcycle—so technically, I have all the necessary equipment to pull one off successfully. Then again, the bike itself is a remnant of a crisis long past. I once considered using it for photography, riding around and capturing whatever caught my eye. But transporting my camera presents an interesting challenge: I don’t have saddlebags. Turns out, it’s all a bit too complicated—riding a motorcycle requires preparation, safety inspections, and proper gear. Besides, I rarely feel the urge to go anywhere these days. If anything, I’d make a poor excuse for a mid-life crisis-stricken man. I’m too old, too content, and honestly, just fine with how things are.

FACS a souvent joué à Lyon dans le passé mais c’est la première fois que je voyais le groupe, dans un Périscope méga archi blindé de jeunes vieux et de vieux jeunes qui ont également et fort à propos pu apprécier Midlife en première partie.
Les photos sont très loin d’être aussi bien que je l’aurais voulu - manque de place, angle de prise de vue réduit, lumières rachitiques, fébrilité incontrôlable de ma part, etc. - mais le concert de Facs était lui incroyable et renversant ! Merci aux chéris de Bigoût records pour l’orga et les blagues débiles, évidemment.
