#Superman is a bit of a mixed bag.
It's sort of overstuffed with powerful characters so it is difficult to take seriously. It didn't help that the main plot was kind of silly and played out on an absurd geopolicatal landscape. Honestly the best part was #MisterTerrific and the dog, who pretty much stole every scene they were in.
The packed audience I was with didn't really seem into it. I contrast it to #BlackAdam where, despite some annoying characters, the audience audibly reacted.

I can’t help but feel “Superman: Legacy” is starting to become more of the “cinematic universe” vehicle than a “Superman solo film” I have been waiting for. I mean: do we really need other superheroes in the film? Can’t we focus on Superman and his extended family (Lois, the Daily Planet journalists, Kents) before delving into the greater DCU? So, although I am a big fan of the casting choices, I’m not a fan of including these characters in the film. Plus, announcing them before the actors for Ma and Pa Kent, Jimmy Olsen or Lex Luthor is a bit… lame? Desperate?
