Looks like #rust wgpu crate is moving over to using glutin for handling GL completely which should fix a lot of the #mobilelinux GLES3 only devices that don't have #vulkan support yet/ever. Tested on my #FLX1 and i was able to run the glutin example triangle and it reports using the Mali-g68 to render it.

I have a dream! That the upcoming MNT Reform Touch, with a 7 inch screen becomes the development device/platform for Linux Mobile.
That somehow it is possible to choose the compute module, like with the MNT laptops (Quasar, RK3588, etc), that people can chose a modem and wifi+bluetooth cards for the M2 slot like the Librem 5. And that it sells enough units to fund both MNT and #postmarketos .

Interesting looks like the new revision of @dawndrums #DivineD #mobilelinux phone will include lora onboard so it will be one of the few, only?, mobile phones with integrated lora. I know #pine64 made a backcover but that is kapoot. Hopefully it works well enough to run #meshtastic / #meshcore right on a phone and not have to worry about carrying another device.

Interesting to see all the buzz around the new Jolla phone. Most of the videos drive me crazy though by focusing on tiny little minutia like the size of the bezel / notch and the screen DPI. Meanwhile they ignore far larger, more fundamental things like: will it reliably do phone calls (ringing and in call audio)? Will the cameras work properly? Will mobile data work?

@KekunPlazas @gnome speaking of Clocks: I always miss a "timestamper" feature. that would, at the push of a button, take a timestamp, save it, and ask for a log entry which is then added to the saved timestamp. I made a bash script to do all that, but it is cumbersome to use on #mobilelinux All this is useful to record all kinds of observations, and export a csv at the end of the day. Anyone else for this usecase?
