Unstan chambered cairn for #TombTuesday. This cairn has a skylight and a ceiling added in the 20th century. The modern stone circle at St Aidan's Nature Reserve, Leeds. Literally no rhyme or reason why it's there, and as such as enigmatic and inaccessible to us as something created thousands of years ago. But it certainly elicited a smile from me when I saw it, and there's something about how it sits in the landscape with the bulk of Oddball, the walking drag line excavator, looming over it that gives you pause.
