    This is one of the ideas I've wanted to do for a long while: parody on the classic King Arthur story, the one where the Lady of the lake gives Arthur excalibur. But I could not help but have Kitami and Kevin play the part in the fable. Only this time, the knight gets the lady instead of the sword. Tho the Lady looks quite flustered.

I think what I love the most about this image is the sword in the water with the light refecting off it and the water. It comes off like something in an RPG. And that glow on Kitami's face is just so good!

    Inside a Tavern, A princess ends up joining a warrior centaur prince for a chat and a drink. As one of the waitresses comes over, it's quite clear that the princess is both having fun and too much to drink.

    This was something light-hearted that I wanted to do. I feel like taverns have been a staple in Fantasy for a good reason and I wanted to try to do it justice. I really enjoyed the lighting the most here with the glow encompassing the room and characters. It was so nice to draw Lucia and Kira again and to show another side of the princess. I feel like that's sometimes the best thing about Month of OCs, to show off a side of your character you never get to normally show or see.

    A group ventures deep into a dungeon not too far from their kingdom. With an archeologist centauress companion, they set out to explore and recover any magical artifacts they may stumble upon.

    When coming up with the theme this year, I really wanted to do a piece with companions or a party exploring, something that fit the comradery of DnD in a way. This also helped bring out some rarely used OCs, mainly Karter (who was hard to draw because of both the angle and how much my style has changed), and Naomi who I was so happy when she was complete. The lighting tho is what made me the most happy! Using Kenna's fire and letting the light bounce off the characters in the dark section of the dungeon was a lot of fun!

    A knight enters a dungeon on the hunt for loot and experience. While there, he spots a chest at the end of the halls. Curiosity takes over as he goes to open it, but perhaps a mischievous genie has something else in store for this soon-to-be former knight.

    Given the theme for Month of OCs, I felt like it would be cool to put a spin on the mimic idea often found in DnD. I also wanted to have a genie involved so I had to think about who to use, and out of everyone Saagha was the best to use (despite her technically being a freed genie). I think what I love about this one the most is the lighting used. Giving it this almost grand glow like something out of Legend of Zelda.
