Just watched Morgan Saylor in White Girl. Give me indie films over blockbusters any day. She’s very good as the white girl of the title, which also indicates the two main themes. Her white character gets involved in a lot of stuff involving dealing drugs and it’s the poc around her that face the consequences for it, she seems to slide through unscathed. However, there’s the girl bit of the title and as a female she’s in constant danger as well, also outside the drugs world. Besides the constant drug use there’s also a lot of sex and nudity, in case you want a heads up about that.
