Пробовал сегодня делать антенны Moxon.

Понимаю почему их полюбили - они очень несложно делаются, особенно при наличии 3D принтера на котором можно напечатать каркас, в котором потом прокладывается проволока.

Как всегда, при изготовлении по чужим расчётам сколько миллиметров нужно для драйвера, а сколько для рефлектора получилось мимо. Но при наличии анализатора донастроить такую антенну - дело десяти минут.

Not sure if I am proud of my self as how it turned out since I had to abandon my original plan of pockets but I know my first ever mentor would have.

This is a simple roll up for an 20m #moxon #antenna. I #3dprint'ed some cases before but all of them were either heavy, bulky or fragile. This packs everything nice and tidy.

Soweit, so geil. Es passt tatsächlich alles wie geplant.

Allerdings… das M3-Gewinde passt etwas zu genau, es sitzt etwas zu fluffig.

Entweder die Bohrung von 3mm runter auf ~2,8-2,9mm oder mit Sekundenkleber am ende alles Fixieren. Das wird es wohl werden.

Ach ja. Vom Deckel musste ich, an der langen Seite innen, so circa 0,0434mm abfeilen bis er passte.

So. Dann morgen mal Basteln. Also… Ersma Drucken… Und ach ja; Die halterung für die Moxon kann man auch als Dipol-Halterung nutzen. Horizontal und Vertikal. Fiel mir unterwegs so ein :-)

Heute mal zum Bauhaus und eine bzw. Zwei M3-Messinggewindestange(n) besorgen und schauen, ob mein #3DDesign wirklich für eine #Moxon geeignet ist. Wenn ja, wird es die tage bei #Thingiverse auftauchen :-)

Cant win all the time.

I have built the field portable 20m #moxon #antenna as @stefanfendt kindly analysed.

Shocked by the price for fiberglass poles, €10 per meter!😲 So I hacked my way by printing a collapsible pole and suspended flimsy pole with string to support the weight.

Nope vertical #3dprint poles had weak layer bind ad broken after a while. Perhaps better filament and lateral printing may sole the issue.

I am sad now 😔

I want a portable beam. I want to make it myself. I hate carrying heavy supports. I wonder how it perform if I slope a 20m #moxon #antenna like a dipole from a fishing pole?

This way I only carry extra 2.8ish center support for Moxon and peg the corners to the ground with extension ropes.

Still looking for a portable #qrp beam suggestion. Considering a #moxon vertical #antenna but single band nature of if puts me off even easily build. Any one have experience with field deployment of a beam? Boots appreciated for reaching =)

Hey lovely folk of #amateurradio, I am planing to make a field portable #yagi/ #moxon for maybe up to 20 meter. I am considering several design choices and came by with the idea of vertical moxons hung from fishing poles. I wonder how this would compare to horizontal and higher hung #antenna. Interwebs gave me no answer. I aim to make it simple and compact and vertical idea is good for that goal but I want this to be my efficient antenna so... Any ideas?
