I found another #mulberry seedling in the vege garden. I love the tree, it fruits so heavily that everyone gets enough fruit. But the prolific seeds sprout in all sorts of places.

Makes me wonder whether the neighbours who have a mulberry tree in a weird place actually planted it there.

Basically he used the most basic Bai Cha process (plucking, drying, end of story) but one half of the batch dried in the sun and the other under „moonlight“ (those in the know know … 🌙) — resulting in very different taste profiles. There might be more to come, maybe Bai Cha style is just the beginning …

Planted out a #mulberry on this rainy #nyc day. Moved two not so great looking plants from the summer into the hole as well - my oregano (next to the mulberry) and thyme (towards the edging).

Hopefully these plants thrive through the winter and will be back even stronger for my second year #gardening.
