We got up early at the Hyatt Centric and took a vaporetto to VCE, checked in, and went to the mediocre Marco Polo Lounge. We were in the air on a United 767-300 at around 10am for the flight back to IAD.

After waking up at the Hyatt Centric, we took a vaporetto to Venice's San Marco to visit the Museo Correr, followed by the Basilica di San Marco after lunch. We returned to the hotel via the Grand Canal to end the day.

Comme d'habitude, je prends uniquement des plats locaux et spécialités locales.

- Spaghetti "alle vongole", aux palourdes fraîches

Suite de la balade à Murano, on y découvre l'âme artistique de l'île, les fresques rendant hommage aux maîtres verriers, des scultupres en verre, des oeuvres d'art et de nombreuses petites boutiques vendant des souvenirs et verreries.
Les ruelles sont magnifiques, mais je préfère quand même largement Burano !

Apres Burano, direction en fin d'apres-midi vers Murano.
Malheureusement j'arrive trop tard, plus possible de visiter le célèbre Musée du Verre (Museo del Vetro), et les ateliers de souffleurs de verre.
J'en profite pour me promener dans les ruelles pittoresques de Murano, et surtout:
- Les canaux et ponts en briques
- "Basilique Santi Maria e Donato"
- L'Église Santa Maria degli Angeli
- La tour de l'Horloge
