Only leather left (and a base) on my ottoman #MurderTurks murderkitty. I can't get the NMM any better than this now so I'm continuing practice on a next model. I feel oil paints do work so much better and allow me to get the blend in better than with acrylics.

Busy days with king's day, teaching exam training and the kids needing to be ferried left and right.

- worked on my #TrenchCrusade #MurderTurks #oilpainting project
- designed a new #MiniaturePainting space for the living room
- painted scenery and baddies for #RangersOfShadowDeep. Even though the models will only be used in one scenario each and will probably be dispatched in 2 turns, I've put way too much effort in - bringing my blacklight to the game 😂

Decided what I should paint the metal and hair on my #MurderTurks murderkitty with help from my arts teacher colleague. Base coated the mid tone for metal bits. Also faffed around with different shades. Really interesting and educational to work with only 5 paints.

Advanced my #OilPaint murderkitty project for my #TrenchCrusade #MurderTurks. Laid the last highlights on the skin, I guess, and started on the fabric. Bit conflicted about the hair colour it'll get: NMM gold will preclude brown manes, and grey NMM metal will block grey and black.

White primed 19th c Turkish troops with some weird things like gas masks and a beboobed harpy companion and some other weirdly anachronistic stuff

Small 1940s airport cargo scooter with a box on front. It's all very fragile. The 1988 blood bowl orc for scale isn't. The plan is to let a pistol wielding grot show up from the cargo box with the lid being raised

Prepped my #TrenchCrusade #MurderTurks for priming and further painting. A lot of tiny supports have been removed and I am glad to report only one model fell and wasn't damaged.

Still missing one Lion of Jabir. Question: do they really need to go on 30*60mm bases? Because that's hideous. Any in game reason other than 'rulebook'?

Lion of Jabir which basically is a big muscular hairy humanoid with some scarification.

Captain worth his companion shoulder harpy which has awesome feathers. And boobs. Bird boobs. The captain himself is wearing scale mail armor, an ornate helmet with a top knot and a cape that has a bear's Paw on and probably more bear parts.

Raising bull which is an upright walking humanoid Bull in ornate heavy plate armour, wielding a scimitar and its right hand, and has a Canon with what is supposed to be a bayonet fixed to it attached to its left. The bayonet is probably more like three swords banged together. In front of the beast is a 32 millimeter base which looks positively minuscule near it

Resin printed cat sat on a 25 mm plastic base. I call it Bay Kedi, Mr Puss.
