My job has a large gathering of #muscovy #ducks and unfortunately every now and then one of them is killed. Either by #car, #cat or, today, what looks like a #dog mauling. That's the nature of life. Nevertheless, #sad to see. This one has me even more down because I'm almost certain it was the mama duck that I would see every day with her 4 chicks. I haven't seen them so far but I'll keep an eye out.

HIstory is weird and often sad. The orcs can for their own internal propaganda rename Europe -> Schmeurope for all I care.

What matters is how we resist this shit from spreading further. And maybe, just maybe, figure out ways to reverse the shitty trends.

@hanse_mina I think ultimately #Ukraine will need universal conscript service (for as long as #russia exists as anything more than a "rank duchy of #muscovy"), but I understand the need to improvise for the time being.

During the cold war, the West thought it was fighting communism.

But in reality, it was just fighting good ’ol Muscovy and it’s genius ability to take any idea, lying through it’s teeth lies so grand they seem real & use them to consolidate all the power.

You see it. What’s happening now is all the same. The same Muscovian empire, now clad in some kind of weird Christian libertarian right to bomb.

@micchiato I don’t disagree about Western #Ukrainians but that doesn’t mean #Muscovy won’t try. Just look at what happened in those areas when they were taken by the USSR in 1939. And you seem to be giving up on Eastern #Ukraine. Putin has no right to ANY of Ukraine, regardless of who is and isn’t in #NATO (which is a defensive alliance, and wouldn’t be growing if countries didn’t feel threatened by #Ruzzia in the first place).
