On 4th February 2025, the National #Transport Authority (NTA) introduced five new hybrid buses on Route 139 in #Ireland, running between #Blanchardstown and #Naas. Operated by JJ Kavanagh & Sons, these low-floor buses improve accessibility and provide a smoother, cleaner journey. Designed for wheelchair access, the buses support increased capacity and more frequent, environmentally friendly services. Route 139 connects key locations such as TU Blanchardstown, Maynooth University, Naas Hospital, and various transport links. The service has seen a 45% passenger growth from 2023 to 2024 and offers TFI Leap, cash, and Free Travel Pass options.
