Gerade im Cafe beim #Retrofest2025:
#Amstrad #NC100 heute immer noch genau so nützlich wie damals. Und ganz ohne Ablenkung durch Internet oder Klicky-Bunti :))

Working order #NC100 must be useful for something
Just can’t think what
The keyboard is really quite nice
@stevelord #Protext is great! Comes with the #NC100!
@EdS
I have a #Z88 and an #NC100. I'd quite like an NC200, but they're very expensive and probably not worth it.

80x24? But a VT320 is a bit big to be carrying around... How about an SX-64, that was luggable?

I jest! #Amstrad's NC200 has a slightly better screen. But it's bigger and heavier. You get 16 lines of text instead of 8 in the #NC100.
I very much like the #Psion 3 - more of a palmtop than a laptop, but I have small fingers and could more or less touch-type notes in meetings. And again, great battery life. And a 16bit CPU!
Have a look for a second hand #NC100 - A4-sized notepad with LCD, nice keyboard, serial port, great battery life, built in word processor, calculator, diary - and #BBCBasic complete with built in #Z80 assembler.

30-40 hours of battery life, according to the Q&A:

And there's a project to put a CP/M-like OS on it. And #fuzix too, I think.
