The Triangle is buzzing with must-see performances, from indie rock favorites and major touring acts to comedy legends and orchestral brilliance. Whether you’re in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, or Carrboro, here’s your guide to the Big Ticket events for September 22–28, 2025.
Monday, September 22
At 8:00 PM, Mirador will be performing at The Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, while Father John Misty is scheduled to play at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham. Bilmuri will take the stage at The Ritz in Raleigh, and Fat Dog will be performing at Kings in Raleigh.
Tuesday, September 23
Tuesday, September 23, brings a powerhouse lineup of live entertainment to the Triangle. Fans in Raleigh can catch Bring Me The Horizon at 6:00 PM at the Lenovo Center, while over in Carrboro, Maris & Caroline Kingsbury take the stage at 7:00 PM at Cat’s Cradle – Back Room. Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre hosts Mt. Joy at 7:30 PM, and Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater lights up at the same time with The Marías & Momma. Later in the evening, Brooks Nielsen performs at 8:00 PM at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, Shoreline Mafia rocks The Ritz in Raleigh at 8:00 PM, and Deafheaven closes out the night with a heavy set at The Lincoln Theatre, also at 8:00 PM.
Wednesday, September 24
On Wednesday, September 24, the Triangle offers an exciting mix of music and comedy. Vance Joy kicks things off at 6:30 PM at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre, while just down the road at 7:00 PM, Chelcie Lynn—better known as Trailer Trash Tammy—brings her comedy act to Raleigh Improv. At 7:30 PM, Raleigh audiences can choose between Rilo Kiley at Red Hat Amphitheater or Dragos delivering laughs at Goodnights Comedy Club. Meanwhile, Carrboro becomes a hub for indie sounds, with Tune-Yards taking the stage at Cat’s Cradle at 8:00 PM and Water From Your Eyes performing at the Cat’s Cradle Back Room at the same time.
Thursday, September 25
Thursday, September 25, brings something for everyone across the Triangle. The day begins early in Selma with the Classic Country Jubilee at Rudy Theatre at 12:45 PM. In the evening, comedy fans can catch Alexander Nezlobin at 7:00 PM at Raleigh Improv in Cary or Kevin Sullivan at 7:00 PM at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh. Music lovers will want to head to The Ritz in Raleigh for a powerhouse lineup featuring Between the Buried and Me, Hail The Sun, and Delta Sleep at 7:00 PM. Over in Durham, the laughs continue with Michael Blaustein at 7:30 PM at the Carolina Theatre, while music legend Lyle Lovett & His Acoustic Group perform at the same time at DPAC. Closing out the night, TWRP hits the stage at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro at 8:00 PM.

Friday, September 26, is packed with big-ticket performances across the Triangle. The day begins at noon with the North Carolina Symphony presenting Dvořák’s New World Symphony at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh. The evening is full of choices: comedy fans can enjoy Jimmy Carr at DPAC in Durham with shows at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, D.L. Hughley at Raleigh Improv in Cary at 7:00 PM and 9:15 PM, or Tommy Davidson at Goodnights in Raleigh at 7:00 PM and 9:15 PM.
