Zinc - ZIg Netconf Client. It's a start, although the SSH part is not fully working atm (I'm scratching my head...). https://github.com/etnt/zinc #zig #netconf

Great article by Menna Elskaty on Network Automation, including a walkthrough of YANG and NETCONF. A brilliant lunchtime read!

Just rolled out our new (interim location) homepage for our little OS. Nothing special, will not be as popular as Minix or GNU. #NETCONF #yang #buildroot #sysrepo
Preparing for another release of our amazing little #OpenSource project Infix. It's a tiny little OS for networked devices, currently without even a web interface.
The one smoking hot driving feature is standards compliance, and chief amongst them is #NETCONF Sure, we'll support #RESTCONF soon too, but the real hero of this tale is #YANG <3
Stay tuned for more.
Aaaaand done! Just like mum used to make em, crisp and clear right out of the oven at GitHub
Another amazing release by the team. This time the focus was on adding OSPFv2 + BFD and Docker containers. Quite a neat feature for a switch or router.
Today is officially the last day at NSCON for me. After almost 13 years I decided to leave the company I was Co-Founder because of personal reasons. 👋
Many thanks to all employees, colleagues, partners, and customers who worked together with me during the past years. I‘m very thankful for all the support and the great projects we accomplished together as a team. 🤝
Now I‘m looking for a new challenge in the area of IT Networking with focus on Network Programmability and Automation! 🤓

Yesterday we dropped another monthly Infix release. Our little switchdev based, NETCONF loving, network operating system is growing up!
Based on #Buildroot, #sysrepo, and other amazing #oss projects you can get quite far these days.
Next up is customer releases, workshops, and then we'll move on to improving multicast filtering in the bridge and adding #OSPF support to #NETCONF, I'm grateful every day working with this amazing team we've gathered.
You know and work with #YANG #Netconf #Restconf?
I‘m knew to this. I found lots of tutorials on how to construct the interface description.
But what’s I’m interested in: the use. What’s the management software you are using?
I learned that Industrial Control with TSN is also on the bandwagon. What are the tools there?
I haven’t found any useful descriptions for it. Maybe I’m getting old for the right googling and you can hint me good starting point.
Die #Microsoft #Ignite Konferenz läuft parallel mit Microsofts .NET Conf? Wer hat das denn geplant?!? #NETConf
Help name our penguin! #opensource #linux #networking #buildroot #netconf
Little bit too much work right now, very little focus on my own projects.
But at least the new job is still great! Get to talk about #NETCONF #ospf #multicast #linux and #embedded all day long, so I'm a happy camper!! 🙂
Btw, we just released v23.08 of our #opensource network OS, Infix, out the door!
I mean, it’s near impossible to learn and understand all the nuances of YANG. Spent the better part of the afternoon trying to figure out a basic replacement deviation.
But hey, the alternative would be even worse. I’d much rather spend my time modelling my system than debugging if statements and custom regexps in my C code.
