📸 Rosette Nebula Deep Field
The real Rosette Nebula lies in the lower right, glowing blue and white in this wide deep-field image. It’s linked by golden filaments to other nebulae in the region. At the center is cluster NGC 2244, whose stars shape the nebula’s form. Found in Monoceros, it's 5,000 light-years away.

The Rosette nebula!! A year ago I couldn’t even imagine getting a shot like this, or not even in October when I first captured it! The Optolong L-eNhance has greatly helped achieve this, along with the auto guider which allows me to not worry about backlash and take even longer exposures that the filter allows.
Over 3 nights last week I got over 110 5-minute subs which got me close to 10 hours of data total! The data is also very clean and it allowed me to stretch a lot of faint details from the center of the nebula without bringing out too much noise.
116x300s lights (9.67 hours) at ISO 1600 with darks, flats, and biases stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, edited in Siril, GraXpert, and noise reduction applied in Adobe Lightroom mobile.

El corazón de NGC2244, llamada comúnmente como nebulosa de Roseta.
Es una zona de gran cantidad de hidrógeno atómico ionizado.
Hubiera estado bueno tener un filtro específico para eso, pero bueno... Esto es astrofotografía low cost y se hace lo que se puede con lo que se tiene.

This is called the rosette nebula. Located around 5000 lightyears from earth and spreading to a diameter of roughly 130 lightyears, the radiation from the young stars excites the atoms in the nebula, causing them to emit radiation themselves producing the emission nebula we see.

This is the Rosette Nebula, showing the light emitted from Ha (Hydrogen) and Sii (Sulphur) gases in the nebula.
I should probably get some more exposure time on this, but I’m running out of time! I probably won’t get much of a chance to image this one again until late next year.
