Good Tuesday morning. Sharing the planned observations performed by the s50 last night. Starting with -158 / .

SH2-158 / NGC 7538 The Northern Lagoon Nebula - telescope processed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. Sh2-158 / NGC 7538 is an active star-forming region in Cepheus, sometimes called the Northern Lagoon. It contains one of the most massive protostars known. SH2-158 / NGC 7538 The Northern Lagoon Nebula - unprocessed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. It contains a gigantic protostar about 300 times the size of our solar system, making it one of the most massive "baby stars" known to astronomers.

Good Friday morning. Here we go with planned observations from last night. Starting out with -158 / .

SH 2- 158 / NGC 7538 The Northern Lagoon Nebula - telescope processed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. An active emission and reflection nebula in Cepheus (Sharpless 2-158 / NGC 7538), it's a major star-forming region hosting one of the largest known protostars.SH 2- 158 / NGC 7538 The Northern Lagoon Nebula - unprocessed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. This stellar nursery is home to one of the largest known protostars (NGC 7538 S), a baby star that's still growing and is ~300 times the size of our Solar System.

Here is the Bubble Nebula NGC 7635. We can also see the open cluster of stars M52 below. The bright on the top is NGC 7538, the Northern Lagoon Nebula. On top right corner, we can see the part of the lobster claw Nebula.
