This bad e-bike bill (S4834) is scheduled for a floor vote in the NJ senate today .

Call your legislators and tell them to vote no. This bill does nothing for safety, it just increases the costs of low speed e-bikes for working people and families like mine.

Registration and insurance for riding your kid to school on a bike is the opposite of affordability. Let your electeds know.

I bought my first car in 1998 for about $1100. It was a 1980 #MG B that I found listed on a newsgroup posting in Texas (I was living in #NJ). I had the car shipped by an auto transport service, and when it arrived we learned it had a bad brake master cylinder (it didn't stop), and a cracked head (it overheated minutes after starting it). The seller said nothing of these issues when I spoke to them over the phone and across many emails. A completely foolish purchase, however everything I know about cars is the result of learning to make that car my daily driver. I lemonaded the hell out of that f*cking lemon! 🍋
