Nein. Ich hatte damals mit dem #NaNoWriMo angefangen, aber das war ja nicht eine Gruppe in dem Sinne.
Ansonsten habe ich ab und zu Schreibabende mit einer guten Freundin. Davon abgesehen, keine fixe Schreib-Gruppe.
#WritersCoffeeClub Jun. 15 — Have you ever challenged yourself to write without editing? What were the results?
I sometimes journal by #freewriting, where part of the point is to write by stream-of-consciousness without any editing. I tried to work that way with #NaNoWriMo but ended up burning out lol. It turns out I'm much happier and more productive when I can do some minimal quality control and think through what I'm writing. I do put off more involved edits until the next stage, but writing without any editing at all isn't for me outside of specific, short exercises like freewriting.

I have so many positive memories connected to it.
Nanowrimo helped me grow so many important writing skills. It helped me to become the writer and editor that I am today.
The Tasmanian nanowrimo community are still quite active in Launceston. We have been publishing a yearly zine for the last decade (this is the 10th year) some discussion hinted at not publishing another nanowrimo zine but it was decided by consensus that we would do one last nanowrimo zine since it was our 10th year. I suggested we do a second zine to segue into a new era - which is the link I posted above - checking to see if we can accept non Tasmanian writers! #nanowrimo #zine #writingcommunity #tasmania
Moving on from Nanowrimo, I am on a team of writers making a Tassie writers’ zine for the Hobart Small Press Zine on 4 October. We are taking contributions of 200-300 word flash fiction on the topic of “new” (no more nanowrimo!).Artwork also welcome. No payment because we are all volunteers having a moderate amount of fun doing this 😜 The zines will be sold by gold coin donation at the fair to cover the cost of table fee, travel and printing. #WritersCoffeeClub 3 - Have you ever done a writing challenge? How did it go?
I've had a successful #NaNoWriMo in 2014 but burned out from the experience. https://ljwrites.blog/posts/nanowrimo-experience/ I've also completed the first draft of the big WIP Book 1 with a #dailyWriting habit, which was more to my pace but took a lot of energy. I'd like to make creative writing/research a part of daily routine again as life settles down.
I've done contests and exchanges for #fanfic, original fic, and #poetry. A few I'm particularly proud of are two short works of #historicalFiction and an Eliza/Charlotte one-shot (Pride and Prejudice). They were good opportunities to stretch myself and produce new work such as sonnets and English-language sijo, which I wouldn't have done on my own. Fundamentally I think my best work comes from self-driven projects, but I welcome new challenges when I have room for them.
Since moving away from #NaNoWriMo after the crazy occurances, it's time to write in a new challenge!

So nanowrimo is officially ded. Even though it died a nasty death, it did bring me a heap of positives. I finished my first novel during a nanowrimo season in 2017 and I met the most amazing writing community here in Launceston. RIP nanowrimo.
