Intense gaze, bold brushstrokes! vincent van gogh's self-portrait

The image is a portrait of a man with a beard and mustache, set against a yellow background. He has a distressed expression, which contributes to the overall mood of the piece. The artwork appears to be an oil painting executed in a post-impressionist style, characterized by its visible brushstrokes and use of color. It is a portrait of a man who seems to be looking off into the distance with a serious expression on his face.

Puzzle: Claude Monet, Japanese Footbridge

Pomegranate Puzzle: Claude Monet

Although Pomegranate just calls this puzzle Claude Monet, the painting is “The Japanese Footbridge” (1899) and is in the collection of the National Gallery of Art – see their collection highlight of it.

Great puzzle – tackle the bridge first (after edges of course) then the browns and lily pads – challenging but beautiful.
