Old brick steps on a house, looking worn and broken down, somewhat mossy. Bunches of small daisy-like flowers are sprouting up from the steps at the edges and in the cracks at the center of them. A spray of green ferns is growing out of the wall along one side of the steps.

Looking down at old gray cement sidewalk, some cracks visible. In center an oblong patch of green foliage has several small yellow poppies growing up out of it.

I never really got the #ThickTrunkTuesday thing, tbh… but here’s one that should work.

Big horizontal branches of a tree with rough stringy gray bark converge to make a small cave-like structure. Sunlight and shadows on the ‘cave’ show green grass leaves growing in it, and some spiderwebs.

Birds building nests from anti-bird materials. Well how's that for an "eff-you" from the animal kingdom? 🤣
