The lead ship of her class, HSwMS Tre Kronor was a Swedish cruiser. The ship was launched in 1944 and served until 1964. Built during World War Two to provide the Swedish Navy with more modern ships, Tre Kronor utilised turrets originally destined for the Dutch Navy’s two “De Zeven Provinciën-class cruisers”. destinationsjourney.com/histor #NavalHistory #military #TreKronor #HSwMSTreKronor #cruiser #SwedishNavy #MaritimeHistory #Cruiser #Warship
